Can we make money from MLM marketing......?

Most MLM companies promises good pay, nice commissions on sales. ( Is it true? )
In fact, most MLM companies promote overpriced items ( who would buy/promote them!! ), and then asking you to buy "incentive OVERPRICE products" ( needed for qualifying for some company bonus/commission)  
As a matter of fact, 90% of them are not making money or even losing money, after deducting their expenses, time, buying "incentive products", so only 10% of them are earning the money ( Who are the 10%? )
They are the leaders, the ones on top of the table, the ones on top of the pyramid, they are the only ones that are earning your money, they are the ones earning with minimal effort. ( So can i still earn from MLM marketing? )
Yes, find a company(online/offline) that promotes good/reliable products ( Make sure that they don't ask you to buy anything/pay for joining). There are many MLM companies out there ( but beware of scams, non product ponzi schemes! ) So choose well before deciding....
